mission:
The mission of the Medical Physiology educational group at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences is to educate and train individuals who are capable of providing educational services and conducting scientific research based on human-Islamic values, to advance and expand the boundaries of medical physiology knowledge and its application in clinical settings. Additionally, We aim to provide specialized consultation services in medical physiology to improve the health of the community as a whole, aid in the better diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and promote lifestyle modifications. Furthermore, we aim to train comprehensive thinkers who can provide high-quality education in various fields and academic levels in the future. We also strive to train competent professors and managers in the field of health who are aligned with Islamic values and medical ethics. The group also endeavors to continuously improve the quality of services and is responsive to the needs of learners and university officials.
 
 
Vision: 
The vision of the Physiology group is to achieve a prominent position in the next five years by implementing basic and advanced standards in the educational and research courses of physiology in various related fields of study. This is in line with the goals of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, which include the training of future physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, paramedics, and professors, in accordance with national and international standards.
 
 
Objectives:
1. To educate capable specialists in gathering, transferring, and evaluating up-to-date knowledge of physiology in both normal and pathological conditions.
2. To train specialists who have the ability to design and conduct cutting-edge research, analyze and evaluate research findings, and utilize physiology knowledge to find effective approaches for diagnosis and treatment of diseases, such as cell therapy, new diagnostic tests, etc.
3. To educate specialists who can provide specialized consultation services using medical physiology knowledge to maintain and improve the health of individuals in the community.
4. To enhance the quality of general and specialized medical education courses, master's and doctoral programs, and other related fields.
5. To provide educational facilities and equipment that meet international standards for medical education.
6. To ensure fairness in the provision and distribution of educational and research services in line with the university's objectives.
7. To educate students with competence in physiology and professional ethics in relevant areas of study, especially for students in advanced education programs.
